This DS6 is a 6-meter aluminum alloy pilot speed rescue work boat designed for multi-purpose duties including pilot transfer, rescue operations, patrol and general waterway service. The fully welded marine-grade aluminum hull provides a strong, corrosion-resistant and lightweight platform that is easy to operate and inexpensive to maintain. Its V-shaped bottom gives a smooth, stable ride at speed and predictable behavior when maneuvering close to quays, ships and swimmers.
The boat has a maximum length of 6 meters including the outboard installation, a beam of 2.03 meters and a moulded depth of 0.99 meters. With a full load draught of only 0.40 meters, it can work in shallow channels and approach beaches and ramps with confidence. The design speed reaches 26 knots, allowing crews to cover large patrol areas quickly, while the open layout seats up to 6 passengers and keeps space free for rescue and working equipment.
